OLD BARNEY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB   The Old Barney Amateur Radio Club (OBARC) meets at 7:30 PM the first Tuesday of every month. In 2000 OBARC celebrated its 25 anniversary making it one of the oldest amateur radio clubs in the southern part of New Jersey. The club has approximately 115 members. About 30 people typically attend our monthly meetings. N2OB is the club call. OBARC is an active organization participating in field day, various operating events, special events and contests. The club also performs fund raisers at local events such as the Barnegat Bay Decoy show and Stafford Founders day. Make sure you come to a meeting if you're visiting the area. If you're studying for your license be sure to usetheseonline question pools for allclasses of amateur radio examinations. You can evengenerate and take a sampleexam. If you've taken an exam and not so patiently waiting for the resultsthe QRZ "New Hams" listingsis updated daily with FCC data.

From the North:
From Garden State Parkway take Exit 67 (Barnegat), turn right on Bay Ave. Go about 1/10 of a mile and turn left on Lighthouse Drive. Go about 1 and a half miles and turn right on Atlantis Ave. Follow Atlantis Ave for 1/2 mile to second stop sign and turn right on Nautilus Drive. Go about 2/10 of a mile and turn right at entrance to Ocean Acres School. Follow signs to Ocean Acres Community Center which is on the righthand end of the school.

From the South & East
From Garden State Parkway take Exit 63 (Rte. 72 West) and follow Route 72 westbound for about 3/10th of a mile. At the second traffic light turn right onto Nautilus Drive. Follow Nautilus Drive about 1.7 miles. Turn right at entrance to Ocean Acres School. Follow signs to Ocean Acres Community Center which is on the righthand end of the school.
